Our founder, Sandra Saint-Hilaire, is an executive director who works in intergovernmental affairs with legislators in Miami-Dade County and Tallahassee. She has almost a decade of experience in government relations, serving as liaison for the Dade Delegation and the Board of County Commissioners for Local Governments, non-profit organizations, foreign consulate agencies in Miami, members of the public, and prior as campaign advisor, communications and social media consultant. She has provided campaign treasurer services to candidates and committees in federal, state, county, and municipal elections, working on mainly successful campaigns, including those for City Clerk Vanessa Joseph, Judge Fred Seraphin, Mayor Oliver Gilbert III, and a historic victory in a statewide primary in the State of Florida.

 

Ms. Saint-Hilaire advocates for youth development in her community by partnering with leaders and organizations to empower young people. She collaborated with L'Union Sports to support Haitian women and girls in sports by organizing a welcome reception to celebrate the qualification of Haiti's women's soccer team in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup by honoring La Fédération Haïtienne De Football (FHF) Kerly Theus, Nahomie Ambroise, Milan Pierre-Jérôme, Pascal Millien, Patrick Tardieu, Ernst "ZeNono" Jean-Baptiste and Reginald Pierre Jerome and raised funds for future initiatives. Ms. Saint-Hilaire's creative ideas included celebrating the team's success at the "Sounds of Little Haiti" event on August 18th and ensuring coverage of their journey in the "Haiti Open" magazine. In partnership with the ZeNono Soccer Foundation and Ayiti Hall of Fame honored former soccer players from the Haitian soccer team from the 1974 FIFA World Cup and beyond at the 1st Annual Legends Cup with former Players from Haiti and Cuba living in Miami, New York, and Atlanta. Additionally, Ms. Saint-Hilaire provided sponsorship to the Lady Pioneers and Agape United FC to support their fundraising efforts.

She is a two-time graduate of Florida International University, with a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Economics, and an Associate of Economics from Miami-Dade College. She is the former President of Golf in Haiti, a non-profit organization that supports the growth of golf in Haitian communities and Haiti. Under her leadership, Haiti qualified for the first time for the Latin America Amateur Championship (LAAC) and Golf in Haiti hosted the 1st junior golf clinic.

 

She is a founding member of En Avant, a social and political movement that aims to lead Haiti towards stability, independence, and democracy. She has also founded "Each One, Teach One," an initiative that connects underrepresented students with role models from their communities starting with Dr. Jean-Marie Jean-Pierre, the Chief for NASA Network and Telecommunications Services (NaTS), at the time the Service Integration Program Director for the Agency Communications Program at NASA, and Dr. Alex C. Young, the associate director for Science, Heliophysics, Science Division of NASA GODDARD in Washington, DC.
